Publishing house of the Kharkiv National University of Economics

The Publishing House of KhNUE as a subject of publishing activities is filed as a publisher, producer and distributor of the publishing production. It was registered on 18.06.2001, the series of ДК 481.

The Publishing House of KhNUE deals with issuing the scientific and scientific-methodical works written by the scientists of the University.

The direction is headed by Syedova Lyubov Mykolayivna. Skilled work is provided by almost 40 qualified workers: editors, proof-readers, engineers, operations staff.

The staff of the Publishing House creates all the necessary conditions for the students to receive modern educational-methodical and scientific writings of high quality.

Due to its attitude to work the staff of the Publishing House helps the students to form a notion of higher educational establishment which owing to its competitive edges and image-making components gives an opportunity not just to receive higher economic education but to develop in oneself a personality who has managed while studying to reveal his scientific potential. For this reason scientific-practical conferences are held annually at the University the results of which are represented in scientific articles of the students. Besides, during the years of studying at KhNUE the students directed by the leading scientists have the opportunity to work and  carry out their own scientific researches also published in professional journal "Development Management". Thereby the Publishing House is issuing about 1.5 thousand of students’ articles annually.

Besides, the Publishing House of KhNUE registered a scientific journal "Economics of Development" in Paris Periodicals Agency (ISBN 1683-1942). It is issued quarterly and the leading scientists and postgraduates of KhNUE as well as scientists from other cities and countries publish their articles in it. It should be mentioned that journal are placed on the site: www.ed.hneu.edu.ua/

Annual output of the Publishing House is 3.5 thousand publisher's sheets and it testifies to the fact that the Publishing House acts according to the University development concept and is directed at using programs of improving the quality of high-class specialists training.

The Publishing House is provided by modern polygraphic equipment, therefore has an opportunity to keep abreast of the times and carry out the complete finished cycle of passing the editions from editing till publication.
