High School of the International Business


The Faculty of International Economic Relations provides education in all specialities in this line. It was the first in Ukraine to start in 1989 training specialists for international economic activity.

The high level of education is guaranteed by the developed infrastructure of teaching –specially equipped lecture halls, up-to-date computing technology, a great stock of professional literature in the library, language laboratories and computer classes –laboratories.

The Faculty maintains close links with the enterprises and organizations which need and order specialists. Language learning is oriented at studying English, French, German, New Greek and Chinese; there are specialized optional language schools.

There are following departments are working at the Faculty:

Tuition is carried out in the specialities: Economic Theory, International Economy, Management of International Economic Activity.

The Specialist in Economic Theory can work in research institutions; in state, public or private enterprises and institutions holding the positions responsible for analysis of social and economic processes; teachers of general theoretical economic subjects in higher and secondary schools.

The Core Subjects are: Economic Theory; Macro- and Microeconomics; Contemporary Economic Systems; Enterprise Economy; Marketing; Finance; Management; Teaching Skills; Modeling and Forecasting of Economic Processes; Foreign Business Language.

The Specialist in International Economy can perform organizational economic, marketing, commercial, managerial, finance, currency and crediting international economic activities.

The Core Subjects are: International Economic Relations; International Finance; International Audit in Foreign Countries; International Economic Law; Foreign Business Language, International Marketing; TNC; Foreign Trade and Trade Policies; Prices and Pricing in Foreign Trade.

The Specialist in Management of International Economic Activity can perform organizational and economic, managerial, commercial, finance and analytical functions in export-import activities of enterprises, organizations and institutions of various forms of ownership.

The Core Subjects are: Management of International Economic Activity; International Finance Management; Customs; Management of Transport Services; Personnel Management Marketing; Communications in Foreign Business; Management of International Projects; Foreign Business Language.
